Traditional body and soul herbalism is a long-established form of healing in which a person unbalances are analyzed in the in a holistic context, rather than detached parts. It acknowledges man needs as a whole, meaning body, mind and spirit, with a profound respect to Nature. My service provides support to your health, nor a replacement to replace your medical doctor treatment.

Unlike your medical doctor, holistic practitioners do not diagnose or cure diseases. Instead, we strive to correct imbalances that manifest into deficiencies and excesses.

 Marcia is a certified Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner and Nutritional Consultant born  Brazil.

The Journey to help others:

With an innate inclination for the arts, after high school, Marcia continued her studies at Bennett University, receiving a B.A. in Art Education. For the next couple of decades, she dedicated her life to capturing the movements of the human form through her sculptural work, participating in diverse art shows in Brazil and in the USA, winning several awards.

Marcia’s interest for Holistic Health flourished as a young teenager, being nurtured through diverse seminars and classes in her native country of Brazil. She learned to understand the delicate balance between good nutrition, plants from nature, and overall health and wellness. Because of an injury to her back and the desire to “heal thyself”, throughout the years, her involvement with medicinal herbs and nutrition matured into a concrete desire to manifest the passion into a career. As a result of this desire, New Oxford Botanical was open, a singular place offering alternative wellness support/herbalist services.

Life blessed Marcia with a wonderful partner, Fred Fowler, and two step children. The couple has been living in New Oxford for the last 11 years, with their beautiful dog Lillybell.
